You could consider using the MM_Affiliate_Decision SmartTag to do this:

I am using member mouse and idevaffiliate.
I want to display the affiliate name in the header or body (affid passed in the url after idev_id)
users want to be sure that when they sign up the affiliate is getting credit and they dont have a way to see it.
